Quasimodo: Abuela Padres Artista Amigos Gente Personas Tell me if the following words are masculine or feminine and if they are singular or plural: Abuela Padres Artista Amigos Gente Personas

Adjetivos: Location #’s and amounts (mucho/poco etc) go BEFORE the word modified. Hay seis hijos en mi familia. Tengo (I have) muchos hermanos. Possessive adjectives (mi/mis/tu/tus etc.) also go BEFORE the word modified. Mi padre es inteligente. Tus amigos son guapos. Descriptive adjectives TYPICALLY go AFTER the word they describe. El novio de María es un chico alto.

Adjetivos: Matching Must match GENDER with the words they describe. Michael Jordan es atlético. Kerri Walsh Jennings es atlética. Must match NUMBER with the words they describe. Mi hermano es alto. Mis amigos son altos.

Adjetivos: Matching Some adjectives can match either feminine or masculine without needing any adjustments These adjectives are typically the ones that end in a letter other than “o” or “r” Ella es inteligente. Él es inteligente. Adjectives that end in “o” change the ending to “a” for feminine matching. Mario es alto. María es alta. Adjectives ending in “r” tend to add an “a” to the end of the word for feminine matching. Mario es trabajador. María es trabajadora.

Adjetivos: Matching For matching with plural nouns: Add an “s” to adjectives ending with vowels. El chico es gordo. Los chicos son gordos. Add an “es” to adjectives ending with consonants. El examen es difícil. Los exámenes son difíciles. NOTE: One or two adjectives need accents added when made plural. On your list: joven vs. jóvenes
