Discover Jesus in the Passover Seder DATE 22nd April 2016 : VENUE: Elim Pentecostal Church, Wantz Road, Maldon, CM9 5DB TIME: 6:30 pm – 8:30pm Please join with us for this special Passover Meal and teaching on the Passover. Pesach, or Passover, is the most celebrated of all Jewish holidays as commanded by God. For Jews, it is the first of 3 pilgrimage festivals to Jerusalem. Come and learn the biblical meaning of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus. See how God unfolded his wonderful plan of redemption. At this time, Jews sit around dinner tables telling the story of their liberation from slavery out of Egypt and the Exodus to the promised land they now call home. Come and celebrate the Love, Grace and the free gift of Salvation that the Lord Jesus has for us. Join us and be blessed as we share a meal together. On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is the L ORD ’s Passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the L ORD ; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. (Leviticus 23:5, 6) And He (Jesus) said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.”’” (Matthew 26:18) If it was important for Jesus to keep the passover, should you and I not follow his example?
