DO SCIENCE AND GOD MIX? Free Admission Don't miss this opportunity to hear John Lennox discuss one of the most crucial issues of our time DO SCIENCE AND GOD MIX? John Lennox, Professor of Mathematics (Emeritus) at Oxford University, is an internationally renowned speaker on the interface of science, philosophy and Tuesday 29 November Pickavance Lecture Theatre, Rutherford Appleton Lab, Harwell Campus OX11 0FA 6:30pm Buffet 7:00pm Start Free Admission Book online at http://tiny.cc/cosmic religion. He regularly teaches at many academic institutions including the Said Business School, Wycliffe Hall and the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, as well as also being a Senior Fellow with the Trinity Forum. He has written a series of books exploring the relationship between Science and Christianity and he has also participated in a number of televised debates with some of the world’s leading atheist thinkers. This lecture is designed for people from across the worldview spectrum: committed atheists, the sceptically minded and scientifically curious, and devoted Christian believers. Before the event, you will have the opportunity to provide written questions which John will aim to answer during or after his lecture and we will take audience questions after the lecture. About the organisers: Harwell and Chilton Churches are exploring the relationship between Science and Faith, through their Crossing the Gap project, funded by Scientists in Congregations. This lecture is part of a three lecture series that will be running between now and summer 2017.
