21 – THANKSGIVING FEAST IN CLASSROOM Miss Saglimbeni Pre – K 3 nsaglimbeni@stlucys.org 718-882-2203 November 19 to November 23 This week we will discuss, transportation. This week the students will be able to learn how balls and transportation relate. The students would be able to learn about the different forms of transportation and how we can move from one place to another. Fun at Home: Spend time with your child, exploring balls, and asking your child questions to boost his or her thinking about balls. For example, you might ask, “I wonder what’s inside a tennis ball? ” or “what does this ball look like?” see how many types of balls you can find around the house. Explore the outdoors and ask your child if we see anything that is shaped like a ball in the world around us. These are just a few ways for you to promote your child’s learning outside the classroom! It is mandated by the New York City Department that Pre – K For All students are required to receive the influenza vaccine. The DOE mandates that all students must be vaccinated by December 31, 2018. In order for your child to return to school after Christmas Break (Wednesday, January 2, 2019), please submit documentation stating that your child has received the vaccine prior to that date. 21 – NO AFTERSCHOOL 2:05p.m. DISMISSAL 21 – THANKSGIVING FEAST IN CLASSROOM 22 – NO SCHOOL HAPPY THANKSGIVING 23 – NO SCHOOL IMPORTANT DATES
