What To Do With All Those Wires

Many of us have struggled with the mess and clutter of wires and cables in our home. This clutter of wires and cables doesn’t just look bad, but also constitutes a safety hazard for children and others. It collects dust and can cause trip and fall accidents. Here are some tips to help alleviate the problem:

Examine the cable length: Make sure your cables are at the minimum length necessary. Buy shorter cables or shorten the ones you are using. Conceal the cable: Hide the cables under floor cord covers. They are available in a variety of colors and styles for your home.

Route the cable wisely: If a cable must go around an entire room, plan a route that creates as little disruption as possible. There are adhesive cord clips, raceways and cord protectors that will assist you in using the walls, furniture and floors to hide the cable.

Consider using a charging station: Use a charging station so that your cell phone, tablet, MP3 player and any other device can be charged together in one neatly organized area.

Olympic Wire & Cable has been providing the right cables for the right projects for more than 35 years. We can cut your wires or cables to any length. We offer you excellent customer service.
