Static Characters Stays the same throughout the story; The personality of that character when he is introduced is the same personality when the story comes to a close.

Flat Character – character which we know very limited about; not complicated, don’t change much

Conflict Man vs Man: external struggle between two or more individuals Man vs Self: internal struggle between a man and himself; in his mind; concerns emotion and decision Man vs Nature: external struggle between man and an element of nature or something out of his control

Test – Part One Read your alternate ending to TWO different people. Have them initial your story after they read it/you read it to them. Likewise, listen to TWO different alternate endings and sign when finished.

Test – Part Two Looking at your vocabulary words, create a vocabulary test on 8 of the words RULES All questions must be either multiple choice or T/F Only 5 of the questions can be worded as “The definition of ____is______” Include the correct answer. *Write this on your own separate piece of paper. When you finish, DON’T turn it in but DO turn in your packet.
