Essential Question Class Session Monday, March 07, 20 Opening Session Students will create a KWL chart and discuss what they know about Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare, and Elizabethan Theatre. Students will listen to an introduction to Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet. Work Session Students will work in groups to translate the Prologue from Romeo and Juliet to modern text. Closing Session Students will begin reading Act 1; Scene 1 from Romeo and Juliet. See the notes about Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Era on the website.
