Tall Tale-is a humorous story about impossible or exaggerated events exaggerations about the strength and abilities of a character. stories and legends about American folk heroes.

yearning-wanting something very badly for a long time

reputation-is what a person is known for

escapades-different adventures

bellowing-a very loud sound

betrayed-to go against someone

outcast-someone who is no longer welcome

withered-to dry up and die

unfathomable-something that cannot be understood or known

Questions to answer. Write complete sentences. 1. Why do the villagers use a big wheelbarrow to move Stormy? 2. How do you think Stormy is like a baby? 3. How do you think Stormy’s size will affect his life?

Answers: The villagers use a wheelbarrow for Stormy because he is too big for a real baby buggy. Stormy is like a real baby because he crawls, cries, wears a diaper, drinks milk, and he smiles. Stormy’s size will affect him…..

Cause and Effect Stormy is too big to fit in baby carriage. The villagers use a wheelbarrow to move Stormy.
