Today’s Prompt! Make a list of seven words that have the same vowel sounds (like bee, treat, pepperoni, eagle) and use them in a repetitive way throughout a poem.

Today’s Activities… We’re going to play! Today, we’re just going to play with some poems before we get into the more heavy duty study of poems. We’re going to do two activities to emphasize the importance of word choice and structure in poetry.
