Northern Richmond Shoreline Community Vision Process

North Richmond Community Shoreline Vision Project Overall Goal: Develop a community-based Vision Plan for the North Richmond shoreline with a particular focus on the upland transition zone, environmental justice and climate resilience Objectives/Methods Conduct outreach and collect feedback from community members to improve understanding of current human uses of the shoreline and concerns affecting it Through a community-based process, identify multi-benefit project opportunities with a focus on environmental justice

Components of the Shoreline Vision Shoreline features analysis: Historical ecology, transition zones, parcel analysis, future shoreline including sea level rise Community analysis: Demographics, land use & land ownership, recreation, environmental justice Community trends and concerns: resident survey Recommendations: future opportunities
