Independent Reading By yourself, read chapter sixteen and seventeen of To Kill A Mockingbird, a novel by Harper Lee. Insert: Kurt Vonnegut

EBC: To Kill A Mockingbird With your partner, look at two aspects of Bob Ewell’s testimony: the truth as he states it and the character of the man, himself. Partner A: Use the Forming or Making EBC worksheets to make a claim about the character of Bob Ewell. Partner B: Record in your notebook the facts as stated by Bob Ewell. Be as detailed as possible. Have the student partner up and examine Bob Ewell as a man and his testimony. After the information is recorded, have the students think/pair/share their information. Mr. Walter Cunningham Mr. Dolphus Raymond -  A wealthy white man who lives with his black mistress and mulatto children.
