WVNG Technician Supervisors’ Training Human Resources Office Human Resources Development-Training MAJ Bridget Saunders I would also like to welcome you and thank you for attending. This course is designed to help you guide your technicians through any challenge faced from the new hire date to retirement, while keeping them safe and following all the rules and regulations which affect technicians throughout their careers. In HRO, the goal of this course to improve and retool your supervisory skills With value-added knowledge from the field, we can continually build processes and best-practices

WELCOME!!! Thank you for attending! Presenters & Course Layout Instructional & Hands-on Open forum Feel free to ask questions Staying on point Supervisor training requirement: - Basic – within one year of selection into a supervisory position; - Refresher – every three years. - The binders prepared for you are identified by Modules. There is an HRO organizational chart, followed by the Modules. Each module has the slides you will view, followed by any handouts the presenters have provided. - Helpful information is posted on the HRO website - This will be an open forum, so feel free to ask questions as they arise. Keeping in mind if the material you’re asking about is covered in another module, we may wait until the SME covers that topic. And, if we travel too far off course, we need a way to reel everyone back in. - TASK: I would like for you to choose a “code word” that anyone can say when we’ve gone too far off course. (i.e. “Burger Boy” “Taco Bell” “Hawaii” “Muskrat”)

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a completion certificate. VERIFY THE SPELLING OF YOUR NAME TO ENSURE CERTIFICATE IS CORRECT! - Daily, you will have the opportunity to tell us what we’re doing right, and what we need help improving. So, we’ll ask you to take a few minutes to complete surveys. - Three sustains and three improves are required to receive your completion certificate. - We greatly appreciate your input.
