Comparison of cutting power SONICflex bone – Indications and settings Comparison of cutting power (standardized oscillating cuts made under 50g working pressure) From left to right: Round rotary drill SONICflex bone sagittal saw Competitor 1/oscillation Competitor 2/oscillation 29.11.2018 - © KaVo Dental GmbH

Important recommendations for use SONICflex bone – Indications and settings Important recommendations for use Make sure of incoming air pressure level between 4 - 7 bar (technical adjustement), otherwise required power will not be reached. Don‘t press SONICflex bone tips against bone – minimization of power. Correct working pressure can be compared with writing by sharpened pencil. Choose the right power setting on regulation ring of SONICflex 2003 L according to user instructions of each single tip (see instructional manual). 29.11.2018 - © KaVo Dental GmbH

Tip no. 80, square Sonicflex 2003L setting: Level 3 Indications: SONICflex bone – Indications and settings Tip no. 80, square Sonicflex 2003L setting: Level 3 Indications: Dividing Sharpey`s fibres Extension of alveolar bone for: Removal of root sections Gentle extraction prior to implantation Separation of multi-rooted teeth Bonesplitting Dr. F.
