Building Frame (Column & Beam) Building frame consist of: Column Beam (ground/upper/roof) In building construction, building frame is constructed after foundation and before others structure such as slab, roof, ceiling, finishes and etc.
Building Frame (Column & Beam)
Column is a structural element that transmits, through compression, the weight of the structure above to other structural elements below. frequently used to support beams or arches on which the upper parts of walls or ceilings rest. might also be a decorative element, not needed for structural purposes. Material- steel, wood, concrete Shape- rectangular, round, triangle, etc
Construction of RC Column Place the column reinforcement. The already tied steel is joined together with the starter bars. Concrete kickers to setting up a base for formwork. Tie 25mm spacer to reinforcement. Place the formwork to the reinforcement. Formwork of the required column size is formed first aside. The formwork for erecting a column is fixed by opening the sides. Its then slid to have the steel inside the box. Once the box is upright and at right angle (900), the form work is then fastened and supported on all sides.
Construction of RC Column Pour the concrete into the erected formwork. Concrete is then poured and vibrated until it reaches the top of the formwork. Remove the formwork after concrete is dry. 3 days (OPC) 2 days (Extra Rapid-Hardening Portland Cement)

Beam a structural element that is capable of withstanding load primarily by resisting bending. The loads carried by a beam are transferred to columns, walls, or girders, which then transfer the force to adjacent structural compression members. Material- steel, wood, concrete. Generally 3-types: ground, upper, & roof beam
Construction of RC ground beam Place the formwork to the ground. Formwork of the required column size is formed first aside. Put the 25mm lean concrete/blinding screed. Place the ground beam reinforcement. Place the already tied reinforcement steel. Put and tie the 25mm spacer at bottom, left, and right of the reinforcement. Once the reinforcement is in straight line, the formwork is then fastened and supported on all sides.
Construction of RC upper/roof beam Place the formwork to T-support. Formwork of the required column size is formed first aside. Place the beam reinforcement. Place the already tied reinforcement steel. Put and tie the 25mm spacer at bottom, left, and right of the reinforcement. Once the reinforcement is in straight line, the formwork is then fastened and supported on all sides.
Construction of RC Column Pour the concrete into the fastened formwork. Concrete is then poured and vibrated until it reaches the top of the formwork. Remove the formwork after concrete is dry. 3 days (OPC) 2 days (Extra Rapid-Hardening Portland Cement)
