Plot Map Directions Draw and Label Plot Map Diagram For each Plot Area, write a brief summary of the key event(s) for that area Exposition-1 Inciting Action- 1 Rising Action- 3 Climax-1 Falling Action- 2 Resolution- 1

With your partner or seating group: Compare your plot maps. Do you have the same main events in the areas of Exposition, Inciting Action, Climax, and Resolution? If not, go back and look at the definitions of those plot map areas and discuss your thoughts behind placing the events you did in those areas.

Directions Continued Now, for each summarized plot area, find a quote from the story to illustrate the summary and add textual evidence.

And One Final Touch… Go back and look at the plot summaries and quotes from the text. Add a picture or image to each area that adds further representation and illustration to that plot area.
