Radial Image Color Wheel Study

Radial: arranged or having parts arranged in straight lines coming out from the center of a circle think of a starfish think of spokes on a bike wheel

Image: 2-dimension think shape think pattern

PROCESS: Decide on your image and create a template. Trace the template 12 times on your paper. Carefully paint your 12 images the 12 colors of the color wheel. *To add interest: incorporate the complements of the colors or the tints, tones and shades or blend from one color to the next on the wheel. Carefully cut and paste your painted images to a black piece of paper.

Research & Development: Used Sources to learn about new artists and/or techniques expanding your understanding of art. Developed a plan through sketching/writing ideas. (Staple to this, please)   3 5 7 10 Scale: Project is within required size. Subject: Work is school and portfolio appropriate. It follows required theme and guidelines. Design: Project displays originality, unity and variety. Work is balanced and visually compelling. Focus: Worked independently, did not distract class, approached teacher if needed, worked diligently after class as necessary. Pace: Completed project on time.
