THE GIFT OF CHRIST THROUGH THE EUCHARIST The theme this week is… THE GIFT OF CHRIST THROUGH THE EUCHARIST As Catholics we truly believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Jesus broke the bread and said the words ‘Take this all of you and eat, this is my body’ and ‘Take this all of you and drink, this is my blood’ to his disciples at the last supper. Jesus was offering himself as the perfect sacrifice. During Mass the priest makes present again that same offering, in the Eucharist we are united to the unselfish love of Jesus in giving up his life for his friends and for us. THE EUCHARIST

In the  name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit In the  name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Our School Prayer THE EUCHARIST O Lord, bless our school that working together and playing together, we may learn to serve you, and to serve one another, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Give me the strength O Lord, to do the work of this day, and grant at its close I may be found worthy of your trust in me. Amen THE EUCHARIST

"He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. "For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. From the Gospel of John THE EUCHARIST Catholics truly believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. When we receive Jesus in the form of bread and wine at Mass, we believe that this is His own body and blood. Spiritual food for the journey ahead of us.

THE EUCHARIST The Anima Christi Soul of Christ, be my sanctification; Body of Christ, be my salvation; Blood of Christ, fill all my veins; Water of Christ’s side wash out my stains; Passion of Christ, my comfort be; O good Jesu, listen to me; In thy wounds I fain would hide; Ne’er to be parted from Thy side; Guard me, should the foe assail me; Call me when my life shall fail me; Bid me come to Thee above; With Thy saints to sing Thy love, World without end Amen THE EUCHARIST

Today’s #MICROCHALLENGE Daily Nudge “The Eucharist is not a prize for the perfect, but a powerful medicine and nourishment for the weak” Pope Francis THE EUCHARIST Today’s #MICROCHALLENGE People say things they don’t mean. Have patience with them and forgive them.
