Section B: Media Literacy is… “the ability to access, analyze, evaluate and produce communication in a variety of forms” Reading and writing, speaking and listening, critical viewing, and the ability to make your own messages using a wide range of technologies are critical aspects of media literacy. You need to be able to identify manipulation and propaganda in the media.

Section C: Persuasive Appeals Ethos, Pathos, and Logos are modes of persuasion used to convince audiences.

I can identify the different appeals used to convey the purpose of information. I can analyze the purpose of information presented in diverse media and formats and evaluate the motives behind its presentation.

Point of view is the perspective from which the story is told. As you watch the video, consider the Point of View that you think is most important. Remember: There is more than one character.
