Reconstruction Amendments

13th Amendment The first Reconstruction Amendment ended slavery in the US. This is a poster created after the Civil War to celebrate the end of slavery in all of the United States. Amendment XIII (Student read from pg 25)

14th Amendment This amendment gave African Americans citizenship. This image shows a black man and a white man showing that they are equal citizens of the United States. Amendment XIV (Student read from pg 25)
