T/V VIGOROUS SECTOR PUGET SOUND What happened: Significance: On 08OCT2015, IMD was notified that the vessel was at risk of sinking. Conducted assessment and found bilges were full of oily waste Global Diving and Salvage was hired to handle the response Successfully removed 20,000 gallons of oily bilge waste and miscellaneous HAZMAT. FPN issued: S16001 Authorized ceiling: $75,000 Total Contractor Costs: $26,560 Moored next to F/V CREST (previous project) Good cooperation between CG, WA DNR, NOAA, and WA Ecology

WESTERN YACHT HARBOR MARINA FIRE What happened: Significance: An estimated 70 gallons if mixed petroleum products was discharged 250 gallons of fuel was removed. Good cooperation between CG and WA ECY, Fire Investigators High Media Interest Early in the morning on 02NOV15, a three alarm fire occurred at the marina sinking eight vessels and damaging others. CG arrived on scene in the morning and immediately federalized the case to contain the spill and remove remaining fuel from the sunk vessels Ballard Marine Construction, NRCES, and Global Diving and Salvage were hired to handle the response FPN issued: s16005 Authorized ceiling: $110,000 Total Contractor costs: $67,460

F/V BLACKFISH What Happened: Significance: Long travel time Estimated 198 gallons of diesel discharged into the water 248 gallons successfully recovered Performed ESA Consultation On 10DEC15, the vessel sank at the pier in Neah Bay, WA. NRCES and Global Diving and Salvage was hired to handle the response FPN issued: s16007 Authorized ceiling: $50,000 Total Contractor Cost: $24,500

JIM CLARK MARINA FIRE What happened: Significance: Est. combined total of 350 gallons of diesel fuel onboard the vessels Est. 100 gals fuel recovered by GDS Est. 20 gallons discharged Concern of blocking the waterway/channel On 29DEC15, two pleasure crafts caught fire and sank Duwamish River Global Diving and Salvage Inc. was hired to handle the response GDS later removed both vessels from the water under vessel owner insurance on 05JAN16 FPN issued: s16010 Authorized ceiling: $25,000 Total CG Cost: $11,500

F/V STREAKER What Happened: Significance: On 17FEB16, the vessel sank at the pier La Conner, WA. Global Diving and Salvage was hired to handle the response FPN issued: s16013 Authorized ceiling: $10,000 Total Contractor Cost: $6,800 Owner stated the vessel sat at the pier for about 11 years 125 gallons successfully recovered Recovered more fuel than what the owner stated was onboard
