a long period of time with little or no rainfall Drought a long period of time with little or no rainfall

an overflowing of water onto land that is normally dry Flood an overflowing of water onto land that is normally dry

Thunderstorms

Tsunami a very large ocean wave caused by an underwater earthquake or volcanic eruption

Tornado a violent, often destructive whirling wind with a funnel shaped cloud that moves across the land

Disaster Tour You must visit at least 5 disasters by the end of class. You will turn in a completed sheet for each disaster you visit. You will have 10 minutes at each table Create a list of 3 choices you would like to research

Landslide Blizzards Hurricanes Volcanoes Wildfire Earthquake Tornado Tsunami Thunderstorm Flood /Drought

All Research is due on Friday, Jan. 30th *Each person must turn in their own research *25 points *type or handwrite
