Language of Egypt Arabic Modern Standard Arabic    Those are the Egyptian languages. I think it would be hard to learn there languages.

Clothing of Egypt Egypt is a hot country and so people wore lightweight clothing to keep them cool. We can see what the wore from paintings they left behind.

Food of Egypt While the elite dined off meat, fruit, vegetables, and honey-sweetened cakes enhanced by the finest of wines, the poor were limited to a more monotonous diet of bread, fish, beans, onions and garlic washed down with a sweet, soupy beer.

Art of Egypt Not every piece of art from Egypt is painted. A peace maybe sculpted.

Beliefs of Egypt There are many beliefs of Egypt.  Ancient Egypt had by tradition, a great variety of gods and what today can be labeled as spirits and divine forces. Some were depicted just as symbols and others had the form of living creatures. In total they were over 2,000, but many had similar characteristics and appeared all over the country but with different names.

Customs of Egypt In Egypt about 15% of people are Christians. They are the only part of the population who really celebrate Christmas as a religious festival. They celebrate Christmas on  January 7th instead of December 25.

Music of Egypt Arabic music is usually said to have begun in the 7th century.  Egyptians generally were very fond of music.

Locate the Nile Rivers The Nile river  is in Africa. It originates in Burundi, south of the equator, and flows northward through northeastern Africa, eventually flowing through Egypt and finally draining into the Mediterranean Sea.

Locate the Sahara Desert . The desert has gone through shifts in temperature and moisture over the past few hundred thousand years. Although the Sahara Desert is very dry today, it is expected that it will become green again in about 15000 years. The Sahara Desert covers the majority of Northern Africa. It is the third largest desert in the world and also the hottest.

Identify the Cape of Good Hope A common misconception is that the Cape of Good Hope is the southern tip of Africa. This misconception was based on the misbelief that the Cape was the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Ocean.
