Shifting from workplace to playspace Innovation Learning Change The CSET Play Space encompasses the major tenants of the organizations mission, vision, and core values. The play space allows our minds to be free yet focused on the things that drive our work and interactions with our clients. In this place we come up with innovative solutions to situations we confront each day. We share and learn from the experiences of our coworkers. In this space change can be envisioned, planed and executed.

Mission: CSET inspires youth, families, and communities to achieve self-reliance through innovative pathways and collaboration Innovation WHAT WE CAN CREATE Innovative Pathways for youth and adults. Family assistance and support programs. Collaboration with partner agencies to provide educational opportunity to achieve dreams. What we can create: The CSET mission statement challenges us to be innovative. A play spaces will free us to meet this challenge. In a play space one is able to free the whole self with created an atmosphere ripe for collaboration, creativity and innovation. CSET is a multicultural workplace and serves a multicultural community. The play space allows the staff to experience the unique gifts that are brought to the table because of divers backgrounds. This enriches the innovation that takes place and enhances the collaboration in a powerful way.

Learning KNOWLEDGE WE CAN GAIN New coaching methods Vision: We share a vision for communities and residents to gain the knowledge, skills and resources needed to achieve the American Dream. To achieve this vision, we commit ourselves to our core values. Learning KNOWLEDGE WE CAN GAIN New coaching methods New skills that help us serve our clients Discover new resources to assist our clients Knowledge we can gain: Because CSET has a vision that includes the enhancement of knowledge and skills of clients there is also a focus on enhancing staffs knowledge and skills. In a play space staff has the opportunity to learn new coaching method and new skills that help us serve our clients the way they deserve to be served. The play space allows us to share new resources that assist our clients. Diversity is supported through new understanding are the unique needs of each culture represented by the clients we serve.

Change WHAT WE CAN DO We can effect change in peoples lives Core Values •We strive to assist residents regionally in improving their lives. • We create opportunities for children, youth, parents, and families to be competitive in an increasingly challenging economy. • We continue to strengthen our organization by developing internal leadership, embracing diversity, and maintaining integrity in every venture. • We seek partnerships with other agencies to provide the best possible services to our community. Change WHAT WE CAN DO We can effect change in peoples lives We can effect change in our community We can effect change in our selves What we can do: Change happens slowly in increments. At CSET we are challenged to affect change in the live of the people we serve, the community at large and also in our selves. The CSET core values guide us as we change. The play space can help us change through the things we create, and the knowledge we gain. The play space embodies the CSET mission, vision, and core values. The play space will help us transform the culture of our organization. It will deepen our commitment to diversity and help us to grow as an organization and as individuals.
