Nominations Needed for the 2018-2019 Ballot

All Potential Candidates Must Meet the Following: Held membership in the state and national associations for at least the last three (3) years immediately preceding the nomination; Demonstrated leadership ability in a chapter affiliate by participating at a state conference, and/or Served on a state committee or advisory board, and Has demonstrated interest in and knowledge of Association affairs.

Travel Required of FSNA Board Members Serving on the Board requires meeting with Board Members and other groups to discuss FSNA matters of all kinds, and to represent FSNA. Travel expenses will be paid according to established FSNA policies. It is expected that Board Members travel in the most cost effective manner to be good stewards of the Associations limited finances. Ideally all Board Members should be able to attend the following meetings which require traveling.

Board Members are Entitled to Attend One National Conference Two Executive Board Meetings FSNA Board Orientation at Leadership Seminar

President-Elect Qualifications: Previous Executive Board experience Attended three (3) of the last five (5) FSNA Annual Conferences Attended one (1) of the last (5) Annual National Conferences

President-Elect, continued Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Serves one year as President-Elect Serves one year as President Attends Region Seminars as assigned by the President Chair of FSNA House of Delegates Advisor to the Region Directors

Secretary/ Treasurer Serves a two year term Records minutes of the 3 board meetings and the House of Delegates meeting Chairs the FSNA Finance Committee which consists of the Executive Committee Members Monitors FSNA funds, investments, and securities Develops the FSNA annual budget with the Executive Director Presents the FSNA annual budget and financial reports to the Board of Directors Submits financial report at the annual conference

Administrative/Supervisory Section Chair Section Chair for two year term Promotes the Association’s Strategic Plan and President’s Initiatives Collaborates with the E/M Section Chair in promoting membership in the association Collaborates with the E/M Section Chair in providing leadership and support Only Administrators and Supervisors vote for this position in the elections.

Employee/Manager Section Chair-Elect Serves for a two (2) year term Section Chair Elect for one year Promotes the Association’s Strategic Plan and President’s Initiatives Promotes Membership in the Association Provides leadership and support Plans a section meeting and program for FSNA Annual Conference Only Members who are employees or managers vote for the E/M Section Chair in the elections

Region Directors-Elect Region Director-Elect for one year Region Director for a two year term Directs the planning of the Region Meeting Provides recommendations to the nominating committee Assists Region Director in promoting membership and planning Region Seminar Becomes the liaison between the chapter affiliated in the region and the Executive Board Region Directors Elect support the Region Directors and learn from them Voting limited to membership of the region concerned
