Tongue Twisters: Thirty-three thirsty, thundering thoroughbreds thumped Mr. Thurber on Thursday. 2. Seth at Sainsbury's sells thick socks. Peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

SOLID WATER Ice is frozen water. Ice is lighter than the same volume of water. Ice will float in water. Water freezes at 0° Celsius.

LIQUID WATER Liquid water is wet and fluid. Humans need 6-8 glasses of liquid water to live a healthy life. We use liquid water to wash our clothes and bodies in. About 70% of the earth is covered in liquid water.

WATER AS A GAS Vapor is always in the air around us. You cannot see it. When you boil water, the water changes from a liquid to a gas or vapor. As some of the water vapor cools, we see it as a small cloud called steam. This is the same as clouds. At sea level, steam is formed at 100° Celsius.

Water never stops moving. Snow and rain fall to the earth from clouds. The rain and melted snow run downhill into rivers and lakes, sometimes crashing over waterfalls. Eventually the water flows into the ocean. 4. During evaporation the water turns from liquid into gas, forming clouds. 5. And the cycle starts again.

Snowflakes 1. Always have six sides 2. No two snowflakes are exactly the same. 3. There are many types of snowflakes. 4. When it is very cold the snow is like a needle or rod. 5. When it is near 0° Celsius, snowflakes are bigger and more complex. 6. The world’s largest snowflake on record was 38 centimeters wide and 20 centimeters thick.
