Outcome Participants will become familiar with fixed and growth mindset behaviors as they apply to professional practice.
What is a mindset? A set of beliefs or a way of thinking that determines one’s behavior, outlook and mental attitude. “For most of us, our mindsets were created for us, at an early age. Whether though parents, teachers or friends, we readily absorbed what we were told.” Mindsets “become stronger the more you repeat and practice the mindset.” http://www.michelleneujahr.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/bigstock-Mindset-concept-in-word-tag-cl-43815823.jpg

Making the Shift You don’t seem to know this, do you? I don’t have enough time. I have always taught successfully this way. I’m not good with technology. My students can’t handle an activity like this one. This seems too hard for you.
Making the Shift Create space for new ideas Feedback opportunities Build time for self-reflection Recognize that you have choice
