Who are the Street Servants? A Christian team, inspired by Street Pastors, spreading the name of Jesus in Kolkata.

Why do they exist? To work with some of the 500,000 homeless people on the streets of Kolkata. To help some of the 100,000 homeless children who don’t go to school. And to encourage the local church to act.

For children like Nawab Nawab used to beg on the streets to support his family and couldn’t afford to go to school. After being welcomed with open arms by Street Servants, he is now thriving at school. We want to help more children like Nawab.

What are the Street Servants doing? Opening Street Schools Serving vulnerable children in Kolkata, who would otherwise receive no education Mobilising the local church Through encouraging new Christian volunteers and planting house churches Running medical camps Serving the homeless and those who cannot afford medical care
