Phase 1 Standards & Measures Approved by Board (Effective Nov 2013) Service Provision Goals Initial Service Types and Service Standards Phase 1 Performance Measures and Service Evaluation Process Initial Transit Service Change Process

Valley Metro Service Provision Goals Implement services in the Regional Transportation Plan in consideration of a performance based system. Give high priority to services that focus on the transit-dependent population. As a secondary priority, provide transit service that is desirable as an alternate mode to automobile travel. Taking what’s in the current TPR, and expanding the standards by route.

Valley Metro Goals (cont’d) Improve Valley Metro’s overall performance and promote the long-term financial stability of the agency. Promote expansion that builds existing services to meet standards and focuses new services in key areas.
