32 SUBSITES FOR IP SIMULCAST TRUNKING Increases subsite capacity from 15 to 32 RF simulcast subsites Provides larger coverage areas with re-use of existing frequencies Flexibility to design in-building coverage in urban locations. Avoids need for Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) solution for buildings Expand coverage without having to add new prime sites UNIFIED SOLUTIONS Benefits: Provides larger coverage areas while allowing re-use of existing frequencies. Allows for greater in-building penetration of urban locations while re-using existing frequencies. Avoids need for costly Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) solution for buildings. Provides path for growth of your coverage needs without having to add costly new prime sites. Further enables: Simple failure scenario management (compared to multiple cells) Better coverage for systems with low site / low ERP constraints Addresses potential site-separation issue due to narrowbanding Addresses challenge of acquiring new frequencies Improved ability to trouble-shoot simulcast subsystems for RF interference issues resulting in quicker time to resolve.

UNIFIED SOLUTIONS ASTRO 25 CONVENTIONAL VOICE INTERZONE Conventional communications across zones Talk between conventional radio users and dispatch operators different zones Transparent operation to the radio user Once on a channel that is supported by a console in a separate zone - the radio user is not required to take additional manual operation. Conventional signaling activity is supported across the zones: P25 CAI MDC 1200 Paging Radio to radio communications across zones is supported through a patch configuration. UNIFIED SOLUTIONS

ASTRO 25 CONVENTIONAL VOICE INTERZONEINTERZONE Supported on ASTRO 25 M3 core with or without the DSR configuration. Conventional gateway must be GGM 8000. Customers will have the choice of logging calls at the Dispatch sites, within a Conventional Sub Core or at a Zone level. If logging occurs at the zone level the call may be logged in the zone with dispatch position, in the zone with the RF Channel, or both. Interzone conventional calls are supported even if channels are connected to a Conventional sub-core. Only available on M3 cores and can be supported with or without the DSR configuration. For Interzone Conventional Voice operation the CCGWs should be GGM 8000s. This will ensure the best possible performance of the radio routing across the zones. Customers will have the choice of logging calls at the Dispatch sites, within a Conventional Sub Core or at a Zone level. If logging occurs at the zone level the call may be logged in the zone with dispatch position, in the zone with the RF Channel, or both. All conventional signaling activity is supported across the zones. Including: P25 CAI MDC 1200 Paging Quick Call I, Quick Call II B - Tone & Voice, Quick Call II C - Tone Only, Quick Call II D - Battery Saver, Quick Call II E – Competitive, Touch Code, Knox, Single Tone 0.5, Single Tone 1.5, Motorola 5/6 Tone, Digital Dial 1 (1500 Hz), Digital Dial 2 (2805 Hz), Digital Dial 3 (1500/2805 Hz) THINGS TO KNOW
