GIS international club Welcome to GIS international club (Arabic Session) 2014 - 2015

This session will include : Introduction about PYP (Primary Years Program) & MYP ( Middle Years Program). Arabic in PYP & MYP: Curriculum. Arabic For Native speakers. Arabic for Non-Native speakers. IB learning process. Communication tools. Activities.

Curriculum Arabic department use the ministry curriculum. IB program supports the integration between the subjects and we choose the lessons according to the units of inquiry. The target of our teaching plan is improving the student’s character to reach the IB learner profiles. يستخدم قسم اللغة العربية في مدرسة جيمس الدولية منهج الوزارة ومعاييرها . يسعى برنامج السنوات الابتدائية إلى دمج المواد الدراسية بحيث يتم توظيف النصوص المختلفة من الشعر والنثر وغيرها في تعلم اللغة العربية واستخدامها بما يناسب الوحدات البحثية بالتعاون مع معلمي المواد الأخرى. تهدف خطة التدريس في القسم إلى تطوير شخصية الطالب وفقاً لملامح متعلم البكالوريا الدولية.

Arabic For Native & Non - Native The learning process includes learning the language & learning about language & learning through language . For Native speakers we are using active learning strategies to improve the Arabic skills & to support the Arabic culture. For Non-native speakers we are using active strategies and we are focusing on conversation with reading & writing. تشتمل عملية التعلّم في الوقت ذاته على تعلّم اللّغة حيث يستمع المُتعلِّمون إلى اللّغة ويستخدمونها مع الآخرين في حياتهم اليومية؛ وتشمل التعلّم عن اللّغة حيث ينمو فهم المُتعلِّمين لكيفية عمل اللّغة؛ وتشمل التعلّم من خلال اللّغة حيث يستخدم المُتعلِّمون اللّغة كأداة للاستماع والتفكير والمناقشة والتأمل في المعلومات والأفكار والقضايا. يحرص قسم اللغة العربية في المدرسة على تنمية مهارات الطلاب الناطقين باللغة العربية للحفاظ على الهوية و الثقافة العربية من خلال استراتيجيات التعلم النشط . كما نعمل على تطوير مهارات الطلاب الغير ناطقين باللغة العربية بما يخدمهم في الحياة العملية حيث يتم التركيز بشكل أساسي على تطوير التواصل الشفهي إلى جانب القراءة و الكتابة.

IB learning Process: We are using an inquiry cycle which builds from their previous knowledge & gives them enough time to think. We are making Action plans according the student’s academic levels. We are using the recourses and technology to support the learning process. تتم العملية التعليمية من خلال دورة البحث حيث يتم البناءعلى المعرفة السابقة للطلاب و تحفيزهم على البحث و إعطائهم الوقت الكافي للتفكير. يتم في صفوف اللغة العربية و التربية الإسلامية مراعاة الفروقات الفردية لجميع الطلبة بما فيهم الطلبة ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ويقوم الفريق بإعداد خطط دعم أو خطط إثرائية حسب احتياجات الطلاب الأكاديمية. كما يتم استخدام المصادر التعليمية و توظيف التكنولوجيا بما يخدم العملية التعليمية.
