Event Cancellation cover If you are no longer able to attend Roverway 2018, due to reasons outside your control, you can recover your event fee. If the organisers were to cancel, the UK Contingent Team would make a claim on behalf of the whole Contingent. Changing your mind and/or disinclination to travel is not covered. Travel cover This covers you for delayed departure or arrival if the aircraft, coach, ship or train is delayed for over 12 hours due to circumstances outside your control. The medical cover will also cover the cost of repatriation should you need to travel home earlier or later than intended. Please remember to bring your EHIC card. Other insurance considerations Medical equipment you need to take If you have medical equipment that you need to bring with you which is valued above the limit of personal belongings, you should ensure that the it is covered by your own household insurance policy on an “all risks” basis. Process 2 – Individual Claims You will also need to complete the relevant insurance claims forms provided by Unity (Scout Insurance Services). Process 3 – Contingent Claims Contact the UKC and report the incident on +44 (0) 2071646992. State your name and role and request a call back. UKC will support you in making the necessary arrangements. Complete incident form at soonest opportunity with the UKC. Return all receipts and documentation to the Events Team, if possible at the UKC office onsite.
