Pygmalion Assessment Examples of 3 point responses for Appetizers: 1) Term = Population Control Population control refers to a method governments might use to kill people or control the amount of babies born, in order to stabilize the population of a country due to lack of resources, etc. It is important because in the story “2BR02B,” the dystopian government forces people to either kill their babies or find someone to volunteer to die. This relates to dystopia because this terrible law is a possible law one might see in an imperfect world, or dystopia. 2) Term = Human Trafficking Human trafficking is when human beings are sold/forced into slavery or service of some type. Usually, we think about sex trafficking, but it may also include labor trafficking, organ trafficking, etc. Human trafficking is important because it is one of the major issues facing teenagers world wide. Teenagers who are victims of human trafficking experience teen angst, which is a feeling of severe dread or anxiety.

Pygmalion Assessment By the end of the day today, you should be able to show your knowledge of the themes, characters, and plot events/issues in the play by COMPLETING the appetizers, side dishes, and desserts on your dinner menu. Rubric for Side Dishes: 5: Respond FULLY to the prompt – all parts/all questions are answered. You CITE TEXTUAL EVIDENCE in your answer, refer to class discussion topics and the text (play or film version), and PROVE that you can understand and analyze the text. 3: Respond PARTIALLY to the prompt – not all parts/all questions are answered. You do not cite textual evidence, although you do refer to the text and show some understanding and analysis of the text. 1: Respond MINIMALLY to the prompt – not all parts/all questions are answered. You do not cite textual evidence and refer only minimally to the text. Your answers shows little understanding or analysis of the text.
