DRAMA CLUB? Drama club is an after school program open to all students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Members of the drama club serve as the actors, and stage crew in MS 67’s school play. Drama club members earn 3 service credits.

AUDITIONS Date: November 4th and 5th Time: 2:20pm-5:00pm Place: Auditorium

AUDITIONS Students who wish to audition will be asked to perform a song of their choice. Songs must be from either a Broadway Musical or Disney film. Songs must be sung solo and acapella. Students should prepare and memorize their songs at home. Practice! Students will be asked to read from the script and may be asked to dance.

REHEARSAL Rehearsals take place after school Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30-4:30pm. A rehearsal calendar will be given out with specific rehearsal assignments. There will be rehearsal on select Fridays, Saturdays as well as a few evening rehearsals in March. Rehearsals are a commitment and excessive absence will result in removal from the production.

STAGE CREW Stage crew will begin in late JANUARY. Stage crew consists of scenic painters, builders, lighting, sound, costumes, make up, publicity, and running crews. Students who are interested in joining the stage crew will attend a meeting in January. Listen to the announcements and check the drama club website for more details.
