Old Trafford Community Our Bee in the City Story Academy Friday 22nd June 2018 Attendance Percentages Our Bee in the City Story Good 96% & above Satisfactory 90%-95.9% Unsatisfactory Below 90% We’ve had a really exciting few weeks decorating our bee! The Bee in the City project is a public art trail of over 100 artist designed bees and over 130 bees created by young people. All the bee’s will be displayed throughout Manchester in a bee trail from July to September then we will receive our bee back where he will take pride of place in our bee meadow! Our bee will be displayed in the wonderful John Rylands Library throughout the summer. Take a visit and follow the Bee In The City's Summer Sculpture Trail! Year 3 Nature Trip We hope all our children, families and staff had a peaceful Eid Mubarak. Year 3 visited our the meadow in Hullard Park last week. We learnt about wildflowers, insects, leaves and grass and did some hands on investigating! Poetry Festival Classes have been working very hard over the past few weeks learning and practising performing a poem of their choice. This week members of the school council visited classes and chose one class from each year group to perform in school! Well done to all those children that performed and good luck to class 7 who are representing school at the Focus Choral Speaking event!
