Cordova Social Studies Today’s date is Monday, August 26, 2013 You are reporting to your 2nd period first thing in the morning. Find your name on the seating chart by the door. Sit down in your assigned seat. Remain quiet, though you may whisper.

Cordova Social Studies Today’s date is Monday, August 27, 2012 Pick up the syllabus from the “Pick Up” bin by the door. Copy and answer the information below into your notebook. Essential Question #001 Why do we have rules? Where do you see rules besides in school? What do we have those rules for?

Important Stuff Yearbooks On sale now. Fall Fundraiser Begins in September. More details to follow. Agenda books You can buy them at the bus lot doors/lobby. $5 for the agenda book. $10 for both the agenda book + sling bag. Everyone MUST have an agenda book this year. Locks You can buy them at the office for $5 (new) or $3 (old) either before classes begin or during lunch. You may bring in an old lock, but you must give me the complete serial number before placing it on your locker, otherwise they will cut it off.

Important Stuff Drills Where in the world? Auctions Fire: 1/month, beginning this week. Tornado Lockdown: At least 2 this year school year.
