Parent Staff Association (PSA) St Paul's C of E Primary School Parent Staff Association (PSA) Parent Staff Association (PSA) Autumn Newsletter October 2018 A big THANK YOU to all of you who contributed to PSA events over the last year. In 2017/18 we raised, after costs, £9386.91. What a massive achievement! This has meant we’ve been able to spend money on replacing the Trim Trail on the Astroturf, pay for all the school to go to pantomime performances at Christmas and fund new books for the library each month. Whilst also holding events such as school discos, the quiz night, film nights and raffles. None of these extras would have been possible without PSA funds so your help and support are gratefully received. Having recently held the AGM, we’d love to raise the same again this year but let’s aim for more!   PSA Committee   We would like to thank Sasha Herring and Caroline Calder for all of their work as post holders (Secretary and Vice Chair) last year and are very grateful that they remain committed to the PSA, continuing to be part of the committee. We are delighted to announce that the PSA committee for this year is as follows: Mandy Walthew (Chair) Pauline Weatherheard (Treasurer) Kate Erith (Secretary) Existing committee members  Estelle Welland  Christine Smithers Caroline Calder Sasha Herring Emma Coy Laura Curwen Tina Ettup New committee members Bec Dormer Fran Capanna Kirsty Sibley Caroline Wales Dates for your diary   October Fri 12th - Second Hand Uniform Sale (School hall, after school). (Footwear must be suitable for the school day) Fri 16th Adult’s Quiz Night (7.30pm) Fri 30th - Christmas Fair cake donations please Look out for the dates of the cake sales … are you ready to bake? We need your help! Through November we will be running a competition to see which class can fill the most jam jars with treats and goodies for the fair. Please help us to collect as many pine cones as you can, to be decorated at the fair. St Paul’s C of E Primary School PSA, Orchard Road, Hook, Chessington, Surrey KT9 1AJ Registered Charity No 1089714
