Week 3: Intake & Expenditure

Be accountable… Remember there is always a caloric cost. You do not always have to eat healthy, but you do have to stay under your caloric limit. Although if you do go over…counteract it with extra activity. Track you expenditure and intake for three days. To track intake keep a log of what you eat and total the calories using a “free online calorie calculator” http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_food.php To track your expenditure record you calories used from your actigraph.

Lesson 3 What is your caloric balance? Are you meeting your daily goal? If no, how off are you? How many pounds of weight gain will that result in over a year (365 days)? If no, what changes can you make to meet your daily caloric deficit? Send these answer to me via e-mail. Remember to submit your excel reports.
