First Semester Algebra II A Arithmetic Review Tools of Algebra (Ch. 1) Linear Equations and Functions (Ch. 2) Systems of Linear Equations (Ch. 3) Quadratic Functions and Factoring (Ch. 5)

Second Semester Algebra II A Quadratic Functions and Factoring (Ch. 5) Polynomials & Polynomial Equations (Ch. 6) Powers, Roots, and Radicals (Ch. 7)

Grading Algebra II A Tests Quizzes Classwork/Homework Exactly 50% Given at the end of each Chapter Quizzes Exactly 35% Typically given at the midpoint of each Chapter. There may be multiple quizzes per chapter depending on the length of the chapter Classwork/Homework Exactly 15% Classwork/homework is done daily and collected at the end of the hour or is to be finished at home. Work is collected and graded based on completion and accuracy.

Supplies Algebra II A 3-ring Binder Scientific Calculator TI-30XII Texas Instruments Graphing Calculator TI 83 or TI 84 While some graphing calculators are available in the classroom, I cannot supply a calculator to every student.

Algebra II A Free Tutoring Me GPN Library Before or after school by appointment Make an appointment by email or verbally talking to me Tuesday & Friday BEFORE (7:10-7:50) Monday, Wednesday & Thursday AFTER School (3:10-3:50) Homework help is available EVERY DAY in the Library. NHS Student Tutors are available for extra help in all subject areas. Computers are also available to do schoolwork.
