CALL SC1-PM-19-2017 SC1-PM-19-2017: PPI for uptake standards for the exchage of digitalised heatlhcare records [Deadline: 14 March 2017] CHALLENGE: Stimulate the public procurement of eHealth solutions and integrated care services addressing complex organisational structures and interactions among people (recipients of care, care-givers, and others) ensuring interoperability between healthcare systems and services delivering healthcare SCOPE:. The scope of the PPI(s) is to purchase and deploy innovative ICT based solutions which can deliver sustainable, new or improved healthcare services across organisational boundaries while implementing eHealth interoperability standards. The PPI(s), should allow sharing of health information, the use of semantically interoperable (EHRs) for safety alerts, decision support, care pathways or care coordination.

Integrated Socio-Sanitary Care CHALLENGE Integrated Socio-Sanitary Care Massive demographic change will alter people's needs and spending patterns across all aspects of their lives. Industry, service providers and government need to adapt their products and services and develop new ones. Need of Sustainable Health & Integrated Care Systems for an Ageing Population that: Overuse services (hyper-frequentation) Suffer from poly-pathologies Generate unbalanced workloads among providers Wrongly use available resources (especially expensive ones) Lack of Coordination & Interoperability!

Better solutions designed from a demand side perspective OBJECTIVES Develop integrated care solutions addressing complex organisational structures and interactions among people Provide solutions for creating a market of innovative, and interoperable care coordination Increase the role of the patient and families supported by connection to clinical professional and social care professionals Contribute to standard base architecture that allows integration of health care information systems with HER for market expansion Better solutions designed from a demand side perspective Introduce SMEs innovation capabilities in problem-solving scheme Support concerted public-sector investment strategies that benefit from jointly implementing PPIs across different countries around Europe

NEEDS Public Healthcare Services / Public administration interested in acquiring the solution proposed and to perform these tasks: Market consultation Implementation of solutions in crossborder scenario Clinical advice and definition for pathways Evaluation at pilot sites Legal assessment on crossborder PPI Communication Office for healthcare dissemination and promotion Technical partner to underpin the delivery of high quality, guaranteed, challenging and audited standards for the consumers of the service
