Induction level learning for foster carers Ruth Richards 11 October 2010 - Newcastle

Professional development plan Pre-approval Induction Development

A post approval professional development curriculum for foster carers To help fostering services draw up PDP, the Fostering Network has developed a curriculum that offers foster carers essential information and helps them develop their skills in six key areas for foster care. These topics were selected in discussion with staff, other professionals and members. We believe that every foster carer needs to be confident in these topics to offer appropriate care for fostered children and young people. A post approval professional development curriculum for foster carers
