Cell Cycle Drawing Flip Book Drawings
Interphase Consists of the G1, S, and G2 phases of the cell cycle. The cell grows & carries out its normal routine functions. Cell spends 90% of its time in this phase.
Prophase Nuclear membrane dissolves. Chromosomes become visible. Centrioles migrate to the poles and spindle fibers form.
Chromosomes line up along the equator. Metaphase Chromosomes line up along the equator.
Chromatids separate and are pulled towards the poles. Anaphase Chromatids separate and are pulled towards the poles.
Telophase Nuclear membrane reforms. Spindle fibers disappear. Two nuclei are formed and cytokinesis begins.
Cytokinesis Cytoplasm divides forming two new cells, called daughter cells. Each cell is genetically identical.
