Opinion Essays: Which is Better? Level 2 Writing

Introduction Three main parts. Background (general information about the topic) Thesis (clearly says your opinion about the topic For example: My major is better than other majors. Outline (…for two/three reasons.) For example: My major is better than other majors for two reasons.

Example Introduction Background: Every university student must decide which major is better for her. It will decide her future job and maybe her happiness. There are many reasons a student thinks her major is better than others. Thesis: For me, languages is a better major for two reasons.

Conclusion Repeated Thesis: In conclusion, I think languages is a better major for two reasons. Summary: I can travel more and I can learn more about people. Advice: I advise all students to consider a major like languages because there are more options.
