2016-2017 Course Selection Guide

Start by going onto the Deptford Township School District Page Start by going onto the Deptford Township School District Page. You will then click Parent Access.

Log into Parent Access

Click on Scheduling

Click on Requests

Go to any subject and select “Request a course”

This means you have already signed up for this course

In order to sign up for a course, you must select “Request this Course”

The website is confirming that you are requesting the suggested course above

Now, ELA 09 has been added

Return to home screen in order to finish picking courses No return to the home screen to finish picking classes

In case you want to delete a course, below shows you how to do so

The course has now been deleted

Once you are finished selecting your courses, you will click the Requests button These are the courses that you selected

You may print the requests by pressing this button

Parent will sign the request and then the student will bring the signed paperwork back to their counselor

Additional Information Students must select courses which total at least 35 credits. To be eligible for Spring 2016 athletics or activities, student must be passing the equivalent of 15 credits. To be eligible for fall/winter athletics or semester 1 activities, students must have attained 30 credits at the end of the year.

Additional Information AP Courses: waited 10% Taking the AP test is optional but we recommend that the test is taken

Additional Information Senior Option: #1: Volunteering- can only be done during one period #2: Taking College courses; must take accuplacer to qualify #3: CO-OP- you must attain a job on the books. You cannot leave until 11:30 am If you want any of the above choices, you should still schedule yourself for a full course load for just in case Just because you want it does NOT guarantee it.
