Introduction to Weber Tile Fixing Products

Product Range Weber's product range is split into 4 areas Preparation Fix Set Joint

Preparation products These include a primer, levelling compounds and a tanking kit.

Priming Improve the bond strength Regulate porosity Improve flow

Improving the bond strength Strengthens the surface Doesn't form a skin Improves adhesive grab

Regulating porosity Makes the surface consistent Allows adhesive to build it's strength

Improving the flow of levelling compounds Binds the surface together Sponge or glass?

Levelling Compounds Adhesive needs a flat surface Tiles should produce a consistent surface 2p test

Levelling Compounds Weber.floor level – solid floors Weber.floor flex - virtually any floor

Tanking Some backgrounds are water sensitive Background can rot and tiling fail

Tanking Primer Paint Tape Kit Individual items

Fix 2 types of ready mixed Water sensitive and water resistant D1 and D2

Fix 300 x 300 Ceramic Self priming Dry areas D1 Wet areas D2

Fix The most important classification is T!

Set Weber.set is Weber's range of cement based adhesives. Cement based adhesive come in a powder form and are mixed with either water or an add mixture.

Set Polymer modified Highly polymer modified 2 part

Set Choice of adhesive depends on Background Type of tile Service condition

Set Cement based classifications C1 = Normal C2 = Improved F = Fast Setting T = Non Slip S1 = Deform upto 5mm
