Using Kyrene gmail

Kyrene gmail accounts Every student has a Gmail account provided by the district. Get in the habit of emailing your teachers when you are absent, or emailing other students for make-up work. Use Google Chrome when at school. At home, go to www.google.com .

Signing in Username: student#@myksd.org Click the blue box that says “Sign In”. Username: student#@myksd.org Password: usual Kyrene password Write down your username on the first page of your notebook.

Pick Mail from the choices. Click Mail for getting to your Gmail account.

Click Compose and you will open a new message Click Compose and you will open a new message. Start typing the person’s name and you will see it pop up! Type the name, and when you see it, click on it!

Compose your message, then click “send”. Each person should send a message to two more people (sitting next to you on either side, or in front/back of you). In the message, ask them 2 questions about favorites of theirs, like “What is your favorite breakfast food?” and “What is your favorite sport?” Then, check your messages, answer the questions and send back.

Write this in your notebook… To get to Kyrene Gmail from home: Go to www.google.com Sign in (top right area). From the nine-square, choose Gmail. Compose your message. To send: Start typing the person’s name and click on it when it pops up. Click Send.
