The mission of the office of the County Treasurer is to collect lodging and delinquent real property taxes and manage all County funds within relative laws, regulations, policies and community standards. The work of the Treasurer’s office helped to maintain Kent County’s AAA credit rating. In addition to the thousands of dollars saved by Kent County and the many local units that borrow money under the rating, it sends a clear message to our taxpayers, community and future stakeholders that Kent County is very well managed.
