Making Good Plots           Arrows in POSITIVE Direction Only Label x & y axes on POSITIVE ends Only Mark and label at least one unit on each axis Use a ruler for Axes & Straight-Lines Label significant points or quantities

Example  Graph AbsVal Observation about: Neither of these Functions can EVER be NEGATIVE Therefore their graphs will NEVER Extend into the BOTTOM half of the XY plane Can NOT simply IGNORE the AbsVal Bars to Plot Lines:
