True value of Mandarin Consulting Coaching Programmes Training for North America Team

Introduction and objective of our coaching: To coach young Chinese university students to become future international business professionals by helping them to understand essential knowledge of the West and skills related to job applications.

During our Career Consultation, we must ask all our warm leads the following questions: Why do Chinese students in the US have difficulty passing interviews in the US? Their lack of understanding of the US (KNOWLEDGE) – American Values, American company values, company structures, business functions, American culture, American current affairs, global economic issues, corporate life and others. Their lack of understanding of the job application process (SKILLS) – Resume, cover letter, interviews, Super Day, group work, presentation, business English, Western social etiquette and others.

During the career consultation, we must discuss with warm leads the following: What is your dream job? What is important to you in your first job and future career? What type of professional lifestyle are you looking for? How would you like to feel each day when you work? What is the expectation of your parents for your professional life?

All warm leads must agree with the following: All Chinese students must understand the following: Knowledge and skills lead to many offers Bypassing learning the knowledge and skills does not work in the US for getting a good job Bypassing learning the knowledge and skills will prevent students to become successful international professionals Referrals may lead to interviews, never to passing interviews The more complex and demanding the application process, often better the job Best people from whom to learn knowledge about the US and its values are Americans Best people with whom to practise interview skills in the US are American professionals with many years of professional experience Best people from whom to learn about American professional life are experienced American professionals

In conclusion: KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS are key to successful job applications in the US and a guarantee for a future successful international professional business life in and outside China.
