2018/2019 Annual Partners Meeting Welcome 2018/2019 Annual Partners Meeting Irena: Welcome everyone Building Cross-Functional Teams: Why and How Jennifer McNulty and Michelle Purl, United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties; Irena Djordjevic-Behery, United Way Worldwide Operating internally as a “donor-centered, fueled by impact” organization is a path forward on how we get the work done at United Way. To follow this path, we work cross-functionally to achieve alignment of roles, results, and performance. Increasing our organizational capabilities and readiness to proactively engage with donors to grow revenue largely depends on having the right people with the right skillset. A holistic culture and approach, identifying communication styles, erasing silos are all ways to communicate a strong message to the community. Let's talk about how working cross-functionally has positively impacted our United Way can work for you too.
