To give you an opportunity to explore the reactions of the characters, you will pretend to be one of the characters listed on your assignment sheet. For this assignment, you will write the personal diary of a single character throughout the book so far.

If your character was not present for all events in the text, you should provide an explanation for how your character may have heard about events. In addition to summarizing the events, you should also describe your character’s perspective on other characters, their feelings about what is happening, and their thoughts about what will or should happen.
